WHAT WE BELIEVE
1. We affirm that our faith rests on the absolute authority of the Holy Scriptures, inspired by God through His Holy Spirit, and that they are our sole source of Christian doctrine and life (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21; Rev. 22:19; John 15:3; Hebrews 4:12). It has power when we believe and confess it (Romans 10:9-10).
2. We affirm that the grace of God is God's unmerited favor toward humanity and is the source of our salvation and all its blessings. (Eph. 2:8; Titus 2:11; Rom. 3:4; Acts 15:11)
3. We affirm that salvation is a gift from God to humankind, which becomes effective when a person repents and believes with all his heart and confesses with his mouth that Jesus died and rose again, and places his faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is given by grace without any work on the part of human beings, since the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is sufficient to atone for our sins. Therefore, salvation and its benefits cannot be commercialized, since Christ paid for us once and for all. (John 3:16; Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 1:16; Heb. 10:12; Rom. 10:9-10)
4. We are founded on sound doctrine and reject all forms of heresy, and we dismantle every argument and every tongue that rises against us and the knowledge of God. We affirm that no weapon formed will prevail against the children of God and that what speaks are the fruits, as Jesus said (Matt. 7:16-17).
5. We believe that Jesus died and rose again on the third day, brought captivity captive, distributed gifts, and left the church armed with five ministries for its edification and expansion (Eph. 4:8). We also believe that Jesus is the head of the church and its foundation (Colossians 1:18; 1 Cor. 3:11).
6. We believe in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:8-10, 28). We believe in the great hope of the church, which is the Rapture before the great day of the Sabbath. tribulation (1 Thessalonians 4:1-18); Revelation 3:10)
7. We believe in the marriage of the Lamb (Revelation 19:7-9), in the second coming of Jesus to earth (Revelation 19:11-21), in the millennium (Revelation 20:4-10), in the new heavens and a new earth (2 Peter 3:10-13), and in eternity with the Lord (2 Peter 1:11; Hebrews 9:12-15).
8. We believe in baptism by immersion, as commanded by Jesus (Matt. 28:19), in the Lord's Supper (1 Cor. 11:17-26), and in marriage (Genesis 2:22-24), and in the blessed Trinity (1 John 5:7-8; John 10:30; 14:9).
9. We believe in sanctification as a work accomplished instantaneously in the spirit, but which must also be progressively developed in the soul and body of a child of God. (Hebrews 12:14, Romans 6:19-22)
10. We believe that God's purpose is for us to be transformed and to live set apart for Him, which is sanctification, to resemble His Son Jesus (Rom. 8:29), and thus be better people, fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, sons and daughters, friends, etc. It all begins by surrendering to Jesus under true repentance (Rom. 12:1-2). To live a transformed and holy life, it must begin 100% in the heart, because from there comes everything Jesus said (Matt. 15:19-21), "the purpose of transformation is a change of heart." And the agent God uses to change us is the Holy Spirit, for which we must maintain a constant relationship with Him (2 Cor. 3:18, John 16:8-13). We must seek God and turn away from evil.
